Abstract:
A review of data intensive approaches is given to articulate a role of data journal by referring to elementary particle physics, femt/nano-chemistry, neutron radiography, genomics, social science and history.
In accordance with value-added processes of data from in situ observation data service, tailoring services of associated data for society(data journalism), traditional academic evaluation of scientific data and network of data centers, role and specification of data journals are discussed as a summary of SCJ Academic Forum.
